Topic: How do you remove Rhino Lining ?

i used to work in a rhino bay and as far as i know you can only pull it up so get out your scrapers. probably a like 2 inch wide stiff putty knife and a box cutter one time i had to pull rhino lining out of a ford bed in the sun it seemed to be a little easier when the bed liner was hot

well its only thinner is xylol, that might work.
A really hot thiner might also work.
Its oil based thats what makes it hard.
I had to remove some and paint stripper works great one spray or brush over it and five minutes later ready to spray off.

If you got it on your hands Id suggest hot water and Xylol.

The problem is it's toxic in the extreme when you apply any solvent to it and the dust is almost as bad.

So you don't unless you have all the gear(think car painting setup with respirator).

Also, you might try Aircraft Remover. That stuff is nasty too... don't breathe it in!  It softened most everything I've used it on like paint, bondo and epoxy, enough to scrape off.

get a bunch of dry ice and freeze it and chip it off

a very good respirator and a big grinder.

i helped strip a jeep tub one time, we used big chisel, scrapers and a lot of work with a small dead blow hammer. after you get the majority of it off a good wire wheel on a 4 1/2" grinder will finish it off. i would avoid using any chemicals on it.

Actually, I'd just get a new bed and save myself the environmental and chemical damage.

EDIT:
After looking online and finding tons of "it's impossible" postings, the consensus is that you need to find a place that has a sandblasting setup that's sized to do the entire truck bed/cab/etc.  It's usually a giant tower and they run it in this enclosed space for 30 minutes or so.   Everything comes off.

Any other option just won't work or will literally take like 50-100+ hours.

Again are you taking it off cause of flaw or just dislike?
