I have got an 82 pickup and have a chance to grab an 87 extended cab. The fenders are rotten on the 87 so I was wondering if the 87 extended cab will match up OK with my 82 fenders. I am also wondering if all or some of the cab mounts are in the same place I don't mind moving them but just wondering before I pick the truck up how much work will be involved. I doubt they are since I'm going from non-extended to extended. The main reason for wanting the cab is because my cab isn't extended cab. And we all know how little space is in those, and how straight up you have to sit. Also my floor is rotted out pretty bad and this extended cab isn't. The windshield is smashed out of the extended cab, will my 82 windshield fit in the 87 cab?
