WTB used 8274 winch

I received the green light from my wonderful wife (not that I need that green light mind you *chest puffing up with testosterone laden manliness*) to purchase a winch...  :clap: WOOOOHOOOOO  :clap: !!!! Anyone with any information on a used Warn 8274 winch for sale, I'd love to buy it!!!  , Please lemme know.

$350 and an old xm myfi receiver ($60-$80 on e-bay used) I wasn't using anymore.  I do however need a remote for it, but I think I have one from a friend.  The winch is very clean, and seller wound the line nice n tight making sure it worked.  It does have a low serial #, but it's not a Bayview, and that was one of my criteria.  Bayviews have the manual brake instead of an internal one... in other words when you're winching someone and pause, you would have to be right next to the winch holding the brake to make sure the rig you're winching doesn't go rolling back   :shocking:.

I built the front bumper around the idea of someday having an 8274 of my own.  I borrowed a friend's when I went to Cruise Moab in 05 and used it there to right a rolled truggy in one of the soup bowls.  I'll certainly post some pics tho...  I'm good fer that.  :cheese:
