what are the bars under our user names. is it to see how much time we spend on here. just curious since they weren't there last night.

Hey what's up?

I'm just giving something extra for you guys to play with

It shows your level in terms of posts; more specifically, it shows what percentage of your current level you are in under the posting bracket system..... eh heh

OK ENOUGH OF THAT!

It just shows where you are in your level.
See their are these levels, 5 all together.

It goes by:
"Newbie" == Dusty Trails
"Junior Member" == Rock Crawl'n
"Full Member" == Rock Master
"Senior Member" == Crawler God
"God Member" == 4WD Legend

Depending on your # of posts, you will fall into a caterory for that amount.

I wont tell you guys excately what post amounts are for which levels, but for instance, if I made the Junior Member to be anyone who has posted between 10 to 100 times, then depending on your post count, your Bar will show your progress until you are to become 101, which would, hypothetically, classify you as a Full Member.

So Rich,

You are a "Rock Crawl'n" Member, and currently have 58 Posts.

So according to the bar, you are 40.7% completed as a "Rock Crawl'n" Member.
So as you continue to post, that percentage will get higher and higher which means that you are becoming closer and closer to being a "Rock Master".

Up above in the Menu Bar, click on the Member section and you car see how we all stack up. I bet if you were to calculate various members %, then you could figure out what post counts are required to advance to the next stage.

BTW, see how you've got 2 Yellow Stars under your name? That means that you are in the 2nd level, which is a Junior Member which is denoted as "Rock Crawl'n".

And as for me, well I'm just special. "User Is Creator Of Everything Living", see?

Oh one more thing,

The color of the bar also tells which level you are in.
Dusty Trails is a Black Bar
Rock Crawl'n is a Red Bar
Rock Master is a Brown Bar
Crawler God is a Blue Bar
4WD Legend is a Yellow Bar.

Here, Click here: Top Posters and you can see how the bars are moving up and up and then they change color which shows that the user moved up a level.

Oh what a bunch of useless garbage. Post count this and post count that, but its fun right?

hey big mike

it makes quite a bit of sense. the more you post the cooler the bar gets. you tuned the board into a buntch of post count junkies.

These forums have alot of good useful information, and more participation can only equal more useful information.

this is true, there should be more people posting good info.
but there is also the few people who will post junk just to watch thier count grow. ie: wow, my bar went up by 5% last night.

i'm sure you will get mostlly good posts though.
