Author Topic: Parting out '85 toyota pu, no running gear. good body ALL GONE! (Read 5635 times)

I'm new to the list and to toyotas and I'm building one truck from 2. I have a '85 with a good body that I took the running gear from and need to sell the rest. The body is in good shape with all the glass and sliding rear window. I have the bed and camper shell too. I'm in Fresno and will not ship any parts so everything would have to be picked up here. I can e-mail a photo if you want. Thanks

do you have the gas tank? was it efi? if so I will pick up the tank for $30

It was not efi. I'll also take parts in trade, I need a '86+ rear diff, top shift transfer case, and power steering gearbox for ifs.

jsut so you know... diffs are the same from 79 up as far as what they will fit into... an 8" diff is an 8" diff unless its a v6 then its a bit stronger

I thought the ifs trucks had a wider rear diff housing?

yes you are right... but all the diffs are the same, if you want a wider rear end maybe you should re-phrase your question to needing the housing too

i have one buts it from an 85 efi, 40 bucks if intrested. located in fresno 287-3219

cab is sold, I might have another coil next weekend when I pick up the other truck. I'm planning on puting a chevy in it so won't use the coil. It will be off of a "75 20r if they are the same.

The bed measures a few inches over 6 feet

I still have the a short bed and bumpers and other parts. I have a bed liner that is FREE

to anyone who wants to pick it up. Still need a PS gearbox, "86 or newer rear diff housing with axles, and a transfer case.

Bedliner is gone, if anyone wants the camper shell or bumpe for free they have to go this week. I'm putting them on craigslist too.
