*SOLD*

I've got an ARB RD89 that I got from someone off the ttora board.  The locker was 'refurbished' by arb, and not yet installed.  I was going to use it, but I'm an idiot and got the wrong one.

I have pressed on both bearings.  For the side without the air line, I ordered up an OEM Toyota bearing.  The locker comes with all the ARB hardware, along with a brand new mini-install kit from ringpinion.biz.  I bench tested the locker to make sure it worked and everything looked good.

I'm asking $650 + shipping.  All together, it'll weigh 25-30 lbs, and my zip is 82072 (guess for shipping is between $25-$30).

Help me out fellas, I want to order up the right one soon.

What does the RD89 fit? You do know the 4 cyl and 6 cyl can use the same carrier with a special bearing set?

Thanks for asking, since I forgot to mention it.

The RD89 fits the toyota 8.4.  This rear end can be found in non-elocker Tacomas, PreRunners, T100, and the 05-07 Tundra.  It also has the 12-bolt ring gear, as opposed to the 10-bolt on the traditional 8".  It's also supposed to be stronger because of the bigger parts and cap bearing girdles.  It uses shims instead of the threaded adjusters, too.

I have a '98 4Runner, which has the old-style 8" V6 rear = RD23 => RD132

Not much action here, so I put it up on eBay.  Buy it now or best offer.  Someone needs this locker so they can  :driving: :burnout:
