A friend made me the ramps to run over the tires instead of running over the trailers fenders. also for the extra width of the yota

Are the chains just wrapped around the front axle?  I looking at different ways to secure my rig.

well one on the back and one on the front with the tie downs.   it's actually better to go around the pinion that way it wont be sliding around...  chains are way better to use than tie down straps.
the straps tend to get loose. chains wont....

I strongly disagree. I know MANY who tie down with straps and few who use chain. Straps are a lot easier to tie down on a car/truck where chain is significantly more cumbersome. Chain is awesome on Heavy equipment that has hook slots built in but for our rigs, I will always use straps.

I use 2 straps @ either end of my truck. I never use 1 per end because both chain and Strap can break. If 1 strap breaks on my setup, I still have another holding on. If 1 breaks and there is not another to take the load, you're screwed.
