Cupholders for halfdoors. Chunky Campbells soup! (PICS)
« on: May 21, 2007, 08:01:41 PM »
I'm looking around the house for something to use, right...
So I end up having some soup.  Light bulb turns on.

Ate the soup, removed the label, cleaned it up.

Yup.  That'll do.  That'll do just fine.

Off to the truck!  Got inside, got comfy.  Set my arm down and noticed exactly where the most comfortable position was for it to fall to grab the drink.

Set down the can and traced it out.

Chopped the top part of the can off.
Cut slices into it diagonally.

Folded the slices to make a nice savage lip.

Hacked a hole out of that door like a drunk boy scout with a dull knife!
But - she fit.  Sweet.

So there it is, boys.  Now, before I go any further - quick question:

Should I weld or use bondo for the final touch?

It's funny.  My wife says this all the time:  "Why is it that boys always prefer to do things where sparks and fire and crazy stuff is involved, rather than a gentle nice safe way?"

Ha ha!  Because we are men, baby!

sorry to sounds like a PUSS, but um, got a torch? for strength without overkill, braze it?
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
