Wiring Harness?
« on: Apr 21, 2007, 08:26:01 PM »
The previous owners of my truck have done some REALLY half assed wiring jobs over the years and now I want to sort it out so I don't have any wiring issues at all.
So my idea is either I use the following diagram and go through it replacing, repair and deleting unneeded wires.
What wires can I get rid of?

-OR-

I can go out and buy a Painless Performance wiring harness and ditch all my factory wiring.

Opinions?

i would jsut find a truck the same model as yours and get a whole harness and replace it...... its cheap, easily available, and you know it was done right

Finding an 82 Toyota locally with a none butchered harness will be damn near close to impossible.
Not to mention I have no clue what model the truck is.
