Low Cost 20" wheel?
« on: Apr 03, 2007, 02:37:16 AM »
Hey guys!

I have been kicking around the web for the last few weeks looking for these. I dont really care about the offset (fairly flexable), but I would need an 8 lug / 9 10 or 11 inch width.

I have found a few that would work, but they are kinda pricey(200ish / each). I have seen some steel 20's in videos before, that look like they would be more of a budget rim.  :headscratch:

Any good help is welcome, and thanks in advance!  :usa:

Look on ebay for millitary,  they use tons of 20in rims on their trucks,  and you can probably get a set for cheap.
Life is too short!!!   Do something with it!!!

So far, I havent been able to find any military wheels that are 8Lug. I have found plenty of the wide 6 lug (2.5 ton & Unimog), but no 20" 8 lugs.

Cheapest I am finding right now is 180.oo each for aluminum and 220.oo each for steel. These are the Desert Rat "rattler"s (20x10) and usa6x6.com custom (20x10 or 20x14).

The rims that I am able to find are a HUGE 8 lug. Nearly 9" across! I am thinking about using these and making (or finding) some adapters that will work.

I figured I would see if anyone esle has found the answer I am seeking for...  :hammerhead: :turtle3:
