Toyota 6.5" wheels
« on: Mar 07, 2004, 12:32:44 PM »
What are the largest tires that I could put on my stock 15x6.5" toyota wheels? How wide could I go?

i've run 33 x 12.50 bfg's on stock toy wheels . The side walls look way sucked in and the tires rub on the leaf spring when turned full lock. so u should probably stay w/ an 11.50 .
all i want is a little more than i'll ever get!!

Buckshot Mudders Q78-15's were designed for a 6" wheel they are basically a 36x11" tire.  Not that I would recomend it because of the lack of offset but it is possible.

Would a set of BFG 33x10.50R15s run good on the stock wheels?  Would you suspect tire rub on the springs?

I would think they would be pretty much ideal.  They run pretty narrow and that would be a blessing to you.

I had those a while back I like the size I just didnt like how fast they dug.  Not very forgiving.  But I have thought about putting the new 35x10.5" on the lil truck. ;)
