it doesnt really matter if you can fit a longer shock in there or not because if you start to get alot of flex out of the front your just gonna break your j-arm or anyways.

it was close to the same as in those pics maybey a little less and it was stock highth with 31's

Well i finally got my springs on and after wheeling this weekend i stoped by a place in town i thought i could get some flex pics. I am pretty happy with how they turned out, So here they are! Now i am getting so more packs together and am going to do a real rears up front. All in all it was fun and a learning process. COOL - Nick

Oh yeah shocks and brake lines where a limiting factor! Not so sure about the hippies all though there are a lot of them damn creatures around here!  ;)

Hey did you use any type of spring clamp on the springs other than the one on the main leaf and military wrap leaf? Im building a set right now and was wondering if im going to need a clamp or not?  :help:

I pulled all my clamps open and straight up, kinda like |_| so it still helps leaf spread, but doesn't limit flex.

how much lift did this give you? how as the ride?

one question for all the pepole and did the rears up front:

are the 1st gen 2wd rear springs the same as the 4wd rear springs?

i would runs clamps for sure.  Seen tomany springs break becasue of no clamp.  they just pull down so far and snap.
