engine coolant temp sesor

If you ohm out the sensor what resistance should you get when it is at running temp?

sorry I mean the sensor on top of the t stat housing on a 87 efi

this is the fsm for the 85 model year, but it covers carb and efi, and im pretty sure the parts are the same for your truck
