power steering questinon
« on: Feb 17, 2007, 03:16:13 AM »
I have a 80 yota with manual steering right now, eventually I will be swapping my 92 motor/trans/t-case in and will of course have the p/s at that time.  Since this is still a good 3-4 months away does anyone think I could get away with running a i.f.s. box off the stock power steering setup from that I am getting for the 20r? I wasn't sure if maybe the older p/s setups (i e pumps) had enough pressure to run my 92 steering box and if there would be any difficulties as in making lines etc.

thanks for any help

There isn't any reason I can think of that would keep it from working.

:usa: American by birth, redneck by choice.
