v6 carrier in 4cyl third member?
« on: Jul 28, 2011, 11:37:28 AM »
Is it possible to install a v6 carrier into a 4cyl. third memeber?  I know with arb's you can get the 4cyl. conversion bearings.  will the same conversion work if your trying to install a v6 carrier into a 4cyl third?  only reason why i'm considering this is i don't have the whole v6 third but might be able to find just the v6 carrier.  being the v6 carrier is stronger than the 4cyl, i'm looking into throwing an aussie in it and putting it up front in my 4cyl. third(if possible).  any info on this would be great.  thanks.

ok, that should be the same thing.  so i'm guessing all i need then is the bearing coversion from v6 to 4cyl.  any idea what the bearings cost?
