Hopefully there is a smaller fuel tank available that is Smog Legal. :crossed: :crossed: :crossed: :crossed: :crossed:

I think the fjc is based off of a "prado", prado's where never shipped into the US. might check some AUS sites.

Mike: why would you want a smaller one, do the duelcase's hit the tank?

This is basically a streeter application. Lower hanging, to a point, wouldn't be an issue and the danged thing is appearently tiny to start with. Or so sayeth the gal who has one.

It is obvious and public so I've nothing to hide: There exists but about 4" of clearance between the factory FJ Cruiser t/case and it's polymer fuel tank.

In my gal's application that's 4" of wasted space!
Unfortunately she & the FJ are in Ensenada right now. I've not yet had a chance to even look at where they put the thing!

FYI thats a perfect amount of room for a crossover pipe to go behind the t-case instead of under it, gaining you about 4" of ground clearance in a more central part of the vehicle that is most likely to high center or sustain damage
