What tire size can these axles hold up too?  Also, is $200 bucks for both the front and rear, complete drum to drum a good deal for them?

Thats a descent deal. I've found better. I'd say 40des with longs locked, 35es without either. A locker makes a heck of a difference though.
The minitruck axles are better.  Just as strong(same birfs) with more clearance.

Just make sure the brake cylinders are good, there are 2 per side and they're expensive to replace!  Also, are you planning on running these on a toyota pickup or an lc?  A lotta guys switch to the mini truck axles on the cruisers.

How big do you want to go?  I have two broken 10 spline pinions sitting on my desk.  They held up to 35s (open), but not 38s (open).  These are also old enough to be drum brake all the way around right?  Aren't they 10 spline axles as well?  And, reasonably narrow.  Either way, I'd pass on them and look for a set of mini truck axles.  They're not a whole lot more expensive and they're stronger.  Plus, you can get parts for them a whole lot cheaper. 

What are you replacing?  It would be real hard for me to see these axles as an upgrade when compared to just about anything.

RUN FAST! Course splined birfs and drum brakes. It will cost you big in the long run to upgrade them with brakes that actually stop and birfields that will hold up. My buddy has broken several course splined birfs running 33's and an ARB and yes the course splined pinions will haunt you!!
If this is for a cruiser look for later model, '75 and up I think, have disc fronts and better stock birfs and pinions.

I think the axles went 30 spline in 76 with the disk brakes, but the pinions were coarse spline until 78...I think...

Either way, my guess is that mini truck stuff will still be cheaper in the long run.

If it's in a cruiser go dana 60's. Mini truck r&p's aren't going to hold up to the weight of a cruiser for long.

My friends 10 spline pinion broke on it's first trip to the con with 35's. it had ran with stock size tires before that since it was new in 69. the axles are not worth 200 in any way. I would throw those things in the trash. if you want cruiser axles look into I think 76 and newer. they will have 27 spline like a mini. they are still going to snap pinions, but the likely-hood of that happening is only a little greater than a mini truck 8" pinion breaking.  find some fj 60 or 62 axles, you will be happier with them.
