21 spline or 23?
« on: Jan 28, 2007, 02:51:14 PM »
well i searched for a bit but couldn't find a good answer for my question...

so here is my question.    :help:

i have a donor case for dual cases and i want to get it set up.  but i don't know how important it is to get a 23 spline compared to 21 spline.

i don't think i will ever go bigger than a 22re and I'm planning on running 35- 37 inch tires.

I'm not too heavy on the go peddle.

do i really need a 23 spline set up in the rear case or are there a lot of rigs running with out breakage?

this mostly comes out because the sale is almost over.

thanks

 :usa:

Matt

get the 23 spline if you have the extra cash. It will be one less upgrade you will have to or want to do in the future, and since you have it apart now might as well :twocents:

what does it take to go from the front crawler box being a 21 and the second box being 23.  is it just the same or do i also have to change the first box and the tranny.

i guess if i just tear mine apart i could figure it out.

i just dont know if i really need the extra insurance.

thanks though

Its real easy just a matter of a couple snap rings to swap out inputs.
