long arm kit on a toyota?

has any one built a front long arm kit for thier solid axel toy if so could you post a pic or two

what do you mean by long arm?Do you mean like whats build for jeeps with coils?Schaffers off road builds a sweet rear coil kit for toys..I guess you could call that a long arm kit..

same application just to keep the axel where you want it it will make a ruffer ride but should keep the 35" out of the firewall at least that is what im trying to do

unless you move the shackle to the front it just isn't gonna work..

are you talkin coils or leafs??

yea, lots of em - if you do that your axle moves forward instead of backward..

you know, i've considered reversing the shackles on the yellow death machine, what's the major downsides of doing that vs keeping it the stock way?

Added fabrication, easily bent springs, crappy ride and the fact that heeps did it should be enough to keep most pepole from doing it.  But on the flip side shackle reversals have the ability to add to traction as the spring compresses, they dont need an extended travel driveshaft and they dont let your tires rub as easily.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
