20R carb
« on: Mar 22, 2007, 04:10:09 PM »
Need a stock 20R carb for a 79-80 truck, Corona, or Celica. Need it fast. Would prefer to pick it up. I think it needs to be for a manual, I'm not sure if that part makes a difference.

If you can get one then try to find a Holley/Motorcraft 5200 series carb.  The work awesome.  The are the same thing as a Weber 32/36 but way cheaper and the air bleeds are a bit bigger.  You will still need the carb to intake adaptor.

I probably should have added that I'm in CA. Smog regulations do not allow it. I've been trying to pass smog for the pastt 2 months, trying everything possible. I can't pass with an aftermarket carb though.

Ouch, good luck.  :inthedark:

There is a fellow on the NW-Wheelers baord that has a working 20R carb.  His name is Odie.  I think he wanted $50 for it.
