'86 4Runner chain drive transfer lever question.
« on: Jan 14, 2007, 12:21:07 PM »
Okay I know that is a long title but I've got a weird combination that I need help with.
I have an '86 4Runner with a 2LT Diesel, R150F transmission and a chain drive transfer. I am using manual locking hubs but the transfer is electric pushbutton to engage the 4WD. Does anyone have a simplified explanation of how to wire the switch to engage the solenoid on the transfer? The switch is 2 wires but the solenoid has 5. I'm assuming some of them would have gone to the solenoid on the differential (that I don't need).
Any ideas? Thanks in advance,
