« on: Jan 29, 2004, 10:16:52 PM »
Are the front & rear output flanges the same on gear driven toy t-cases?  I want to run the cv- driveline on rear but flange is smaller
all i want is a little more than i'll ever get!!

hmm i think I meant to ask if the  splines of the t-case output shafts(front & rear) are the same. I already diiscovered that the front flange bolt pattern is bigger (85 case)  i guess i could take them off & compare?  :smack:
I wonder if the pinion yokes are interchangeable w/ t-case
all i want is a little more than i'll ever get!!

Yes the ff and rr t/case and the pinon are the same 27mm spline.
The removeable dust shields are the only difference between the t/case and diff flanges (other than flange o.d. size).
What I am trying to say, is yes, they can be interchanged

The other size is a 31mm spline found on chain driven Tacoma, Tundra t/cases. My new, rear disconnect, will use this larger 31mm flanges :driving:
