1970 FJ40 based tube chassis
« on: May 06, 2006, 04:05:11 PM »
I have a 1970 toyota fj40 frame and tube chassis for sale.  I bought this last year and came to the realization that I need a 4 seater to have enough room for my friends and my junk.  Chassis is located in Elk Grove Ca, about 20 min south of sacto.  I need this gone pretty soon and would be willing to deliver for the price of diesel.  I am asking $750.00 and I am open to trades and offers.  Keep in mind the pics show a complete vehicle, but only the chassis is for sale.  Also, I cut the stinger off to make it easier to install the drivetrain.  Please feel free to call 707-280-6804 and leave a voicemail if I dont pick up.

Chassis includes frame and tubework as well as body panels except for the front around the headlight area.  Stinger has been removed to make drivetrain install easier, but can be put back on with slugs and a welder.  Also have a visible vin plate and lost title paperwork.  The paperwork and vin plate alone are worth the $750.00.

I just went on a 20 hr. road trip last weekend to get a set of duals for my Tacoma.  It sucked way too hard :hammerhead:

Thanks but I really couldn't afford it.  I guess I'm just going to have to tube out my Tacoma. :driving:

A tubed out taco would be cool too.  Shoot me some pics when that project gets underway.
