efi motor swap into an 80
« on: Sep 16, 2006, 02:34:42 PM »
Doing an efi motor swap into my 80 pickup.  I'm gonna use a w56 trans as well.

The motor, wiring harness, computer, tank, fuel lines, and gauges are from an 86 4runner with an auto trans.

Lots of questions but here's a few:
1. On the tank I neglected to mark which of the lines were the return and vent for the charcoal canister.
2. Can I use my existing lines and just splice in the ends for the high pressure side?
3. Am I gonna run into problems with the auto efi computer with the w56, like neutral start or something?

Have a ton more questions but any input would be greatly appreciated....
