a friend of mine has a 80 cj7 with a 258 i6 5 speed and a dana 300 he has a 4.0 and 5 speed out of a 94 ford ranger and we were wondering if there is a adapter or way to put the dana 300 be hind the 4.0 and 5 speed or the 5 speed and dana 300 out of the jeep to the 4.0.

You need to check with Novak Adapters and Advanced Adapters to know for sure.
