Topic: Toyota 22RE & W56 SoCal

I'm parting out one of my trucks, 86 4Runner 22RE 5-speed.  Keeping the t-cases and axles but the engine and transmission are up for grabs.  I haven't had the truck for very long so I don't really know the history.  Bought it in Arizona not running and took it to my local mechanic.  He put a new timing set on it but he told me that it wasn't going to pass CA smog due to missing accessories/vacuum hoses/etc.  I don’t know exactly what is missing but it runs and drives fine now.  Trans shifts up fine but grinds a bit if you try to downshift into 2nd or 1st. 

Truck is still together so if anyone is interested in driving it you need to hurry.  We will be taking it apart starting in the next few days.  Located in Riverside, SoCal. 

Asking $500 for engine, $200 for trans.

what color is the interior? i would like interior parts...also, does it have power windows? how much for the top? i want to have a cheap spare one to chop up. pm me

Oops, sorry, forgot to update.  Engine & trans are sold.  There is no top, I am keeping it.  Interior is brown/tan but in very bad condition.  If there is anything in particular that you need I'll look to see if it is any good.  Come pick up or pay shipping.
