Topic: Tranny/ transfer case identification help

Can anyone identify this transmission, and this transfer case type for me? I believe it's a top-shift transfer case, but i'm in central Illinois and all i've ever seen are forward shift cases. The transmission is different from my other ones, too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. The missing rear of the cab will become part of my crewcab fab.

it's definitely top shift.   I'd say it's gotta be a w56, since G-Series are forward shift.  But since you still have the front of the cab, look at the ID plate on the firewall.  It'll have a trans code on it.
