your best bet is 2 get a oil p-gauge  and see what your pressuer is .   take out the sender and screw in the p-gauge hose/gauge
also did U fill the oil pump up with grease ? 2 prime it

It's possible that your oil pressure gauge isn't working.  I think mine is busted.  I used to have a normal gauge cluster and the oil light never came on at all, so I figured I had good oil pressure.  Then I switched to an SR5 style cluster and the oil pressure needle just barely moved from zero at like 4000 rpm, and now it stopped moving all together, so I think my gauge is bad.  I believe there is a way to test the gauge, and I think it's by grounding the oil pressure sender wire to the frame or something, not totally sure.

Did you just bearing this block, or was the crank miked and possibly ground?

What I'm getting at is, if the crank was out of tolerance, and you threw standard size bearings in it...

well the problem has been nerrowed down and figured out and the vavles just need to be adjusted agen but I will tell every one the facts about the motor. It was hot tanked and bored out to .30 over and dected by my couson's machineing class (the teacher has been building motors for over 30 years and he does race motors now). then once it was brought home my dad and I put in the crank and pistons.(my dad is ase seritfyed and has built meny a motor in his day). then I finished the rest of it off by the book. the cam I a loow to mid range. the crank has the std size barrings. and the crank was in emiculent condition so we put it in.
