Hello, I'm a new user to this board and I'd like to introduce myself. I'm that guy who lives in the Southern California high desert, who just sold his sporty motorcycle and is spending all the proceeds on an '82 toyota 4x4 pickup/beater. Just had the engine rebuilt, and it is now in a different shop having a Detroit Truetrac fitted in the front and 4.88's all around. Fancy new rubber shifter boot just arrived from JCWhitney, and when the truck comes home hopefully tomarrow, I'm going to replace the old ripped vinyle one.
Now I get to have some fun on tires, rims, leafs, hoops, shocks, and you know all that stuff that I'll be asking plenty of advice about via this board.
I realize full well now that I need to learn welding in order to be a happy 4x4 guy, so thats in the works too I guess.
