I am running them because they were installed when I bought the truck.  They are very stiff and don't flex well due to the large arche.  I pulled out the short leaf in each pack and it helped some, but the truck still does not flex real well.  They are also really too tall and put your center of gravity way up there.  I would stick to 4-5" of lift and trim if you have tire fitment problems.

get some 63's in the rear and rears up front.. or Rancho 44044's up front... good flex and they're cheap.. Add about 4-5" of lift.

Unless your building a street queen I would stay away from them.

I second that, if you are on a budget for lift and flex this is it.  It takes a little work but end results are good, also you could use F-150 rear springs, for you rear springs. :yesnod:

it depends on how you setup the 63" chevy spring.. if its sitting on a big block it'll ride like crap,to many leafs, or if the shackles are strait up and down it'll ride stiff... gotta set 'em up right

try the Ford springs..

So it doesnt seem like many people have the F150 springs... I do and they are the best..times 2. They are such good springs. Really soft and they ride awesome on the freeway, dirt roads, anything. I have 5 inch skyjackers in the front and i hate them times like 5. Those suck really bad. Haha
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

I am installing them on my truck  :eyebrow:

howell do the ford springs hold weight and what years do u want

You want the F-150 springs out of a mid 80's too mid 90's 2wd trucks.  The 2wd trucks have 2.5" wide springs where the 4wd's have 3" wide springs, which are prone to breaking.

how long are they and how much lift to they give

The springs are 52" or 53", one of those.  You can expect 4-5" of lift, even more depending on how you set them up.

Here is the link to my build  http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=17097.120  I will be installing the F150 springs in the next few day's, I have been slacking so pretty soon I will get back into gear.

I have not installed the springs yet so as far as how well they hold weight I don't know.

I will be installing a new spring hanger for the front of the rear springs, You will need to move you hangers when installing F-150's, Chevies, Marlin Rear's, etc...

You can modify a spring to hold more weight, by adding a leaf or two.  Experimentation is a step you must take to learn what works best.
