20r to 22r swap info
« on: Jan 31, 2006, 10:27:19 AM »
I am swapping a 22r into my 80 toyota 4x4.

My question is will the distributor and ingnition from the 20r work on the 22r?

The truck runs on propane and the 22r is a early block

Thanks for any help

Dave

Yes, it should all work just fine.  Any thoughts on doing a hybrid?

I will do the hybrid when I blow the 22r I have its fresh built.
when I pull the 20r I will have the head ported and polished and proble run 1mm larger valves.

Not all at once but as time goes on.

Time is money

Why so much time and so little money?
