1985 Kawasaki Ninja 600r - Latham, NY
« on: Jan 15, 2006, 10:11:23 PM »
I am selling my 85 Ninja to get some money together to get my jeep some new parts. I am asking $1200 obo. I am fairly flexible on the price.
Specs:
1985 Kawasaki Ninja 600R (Crotch Rocket style)
600cc, Carb'd
about 13kmi
The body has been repainted black with some graphics added. All fairings are in decent shape.
Gas tank is dented, but does not leak a drop
It runs good, but will need a tune up mainly on the carb to run perfectly. It starts up and runs, but if you get on the gas it will sputter. Talked to someone I know who works as a mechanic on bikes, and he says that there doesnt seem to be anything wrong, and that it just needs the carb cleaned and possibly some new spark plugs.
The rear sprocket is starting to get worn down, but I have a replacement that I will include with the sale. I also just put a new battery in it, and if I can locate it, I have a second brand new battery for it (I bought one online then found I could get it cheaper at Advanced Auto, but forgot to ever return the one from the online store).
Pics are posted below.

Does it have a solid front axle?  Is it EFI?  Thanks!

I am not a bike person, so I really dont knwo if it is solid or not... let me know how to check and I'll be glad to. Also, it is carb'd, so no fuel injection.

:psss:  he's bustin your chops!  You have 4 posts on a toyota 4by site and 3 of them have been trying to sell a bike.  I'm a bike person so I'm not flamin ya, but we have an ever increasing problem with newbs just joining to sell things.  I really suggest putting the bike on ebay, you'll sell it a lot easier than here.
