Do you know who made the gears on that third?  Has it always been a spare or have you used it?  Just curious if after cleaning it'll be a drop in or if it's gonna need more attention or parts.

tried to see any markings that said who made them, just some serial numbers is all.
i got it used from a club member, dont know how many miles are on it, i took it to the hammers with me just in case and we had a big sand strom.
a little sand got in it, just need to unbolt everything and clean the grit out and reset the backlash.
all i see on it is  dsd-g and a date code it looks like.

I call dibs on the high steer...that is, if you still have it. I'm in Auburn, just let me know, and I'll come get it.

interested in both diff and high steer. Will that high steer setup accept my 86 steering box? And would you be able to pull the ring and pinion out of that diff for shippin purposes? Thanks

What's the news on the gears?  A guy promised to buy my 86 toy today, and if he pulls through I'd like to start collecting parts so I can run my 35s.
