Engine dies
« on: Nov 10, 2005, 11:15:30 PM »
I have a 4.3 CPI vortec in a 92 toyota with r151 tranny after long pull I push in the clutch and the damn thing trys to die but sometimes if I'm good I can catch it and keep it running but then it will flare up to 2500 rpms like I just started it and I have to wait till it idles down 4-5 sec.

........ very interesting. Bad vacuum leak on your booster?

If it's the booster it would do it everytime you pushed the brake or clutch in, you'd hear it idle down or die out.

R.I.P to my Papa, I miss you pops......
