name of part (brake adjuster?)and where to find one

i am not sure of the tech. name but the arm that spins
the star wheel for the brakes (and stops it from backing off)
adjuster arm? anyhow my right side one broke in half a few
years back and the ones i have got from wrecking yards
are way to short this will be for a 86 4x4 any ideas would
help

That should come as an adjuster assy. Have you checked with Toyota or maybe a parts store could get a replacement.  :dunno:

parts store does not have
dealer said they didnt think they could get one
and if they could it would be 60-75 dollars.
if thats the case i will just keep adjusting
