well i turnd my carb upside down and they say that makes it not work... i just put a new motor in my Chissnit and i need an 82 carb to run it... its a federal truck not california.. ANYONE?
I'd like to quit thinking of the present as some minor insignificant preamble to something else~~~~~

that is horse :pokinit:! i don't know how that rumor got started.supposedly true on older handa cars too.i have tested it and no problems.sounds like some folks don't know how to rebuild carbs.i have carbs but they do need to be rebuilt.

all you need to to is rebuild it. Or at least pull the top off and clean out the needle/seat and stuff with some carb cleaner.

I've got a complete carb/intake setup off of my 84 (stock toyota carb) if you want it.  It ran great when I took it off to switch to EFI.

$50 shipped to lower 48

i looked at the schematic... thats a great deal and thanks a lot but the 84 won't work... Crap. how hard was it to switch to efi... that sounds like an idea... you have to have the tank computer ... wires and injection right?
