Front Shackle Reversal
« on: Feb 11, 2003, 04:16:54 AM »

I have a 79 Toy project vehicle.  I have heard from a few people that if you move the shackles on the front axle to the front of the spring and make the rear of the spring solid it will make a noticeable difference while you are out crawling.  Has any one done this or heard about it?  Will it upset the geometry of the front suspension?

I started a thread on this already, check it out on the second page of technical articles,  Marlin told me NNNNooooo WWWWaaayyyyyy,  well he's got a little more time in this than I do and for once I'll take his advice

Check out the thread and get all sorts of good info, and I'm still waiting for Big MIke to show some pics of the set up he's talking about,
