you could use the rear shackles up front,,but you will need some sort of spacers,,and with moving your shackle mount for the chevies you will have to run a double shackle wich is not ideal  IMO..I feel its better to use a normal shackle and move the bracket..
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!

Yea go duals so you can have your rear end unload coming down hill and get sever axle wrap going up hill.  They work even better when you run blocks too!

Of course Im kidding about running dual shackles.  They look great on an rti ramp and look pretty impressive flexing but its unstable as all hell.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Agreed, I ran them for about a month and they suck on the trail. They would work well if you used them in conjunction with a trac-bar, but other than that they are crap.

Just put the chevy's in the rear moving your front hanger 11" forward eye to eye and your shackle hanger back 4-5 inches, put the rears up front, buy/build a 1" drop hanger and use a 5.5" eye to eye shackle for the front springs.

I haven't had any problems with my dual shackles.  I have them a little tight so they don't unload that easily.  And i have yet to unload them on the road, i even tried it and haven't succeded yet.  but i guess it is user preferance.

i ran long leaf chevs in the rear without moving the shackle mount, i had a 45 deg. shackle angel, and got more flex, more safely, than freinds with twisty double shackles :welcome:
