Cancerous Longbed

Are the shortbed mounts the same as the longbed? I have a longbed that is rotting off and I have a shortbed, but I am not sure if they will match up. Has anyone done this swap before?

have not done it personally... but there is no harm in trying... tear the bed off and try to put the other one one...

the mounts are very different, I tried putting a long bed on my shorbed frame and it didn't work
