FLAT TOW QUESTIONS
« on: Apr 25, 2005, 04:35:13 AM »
Im contemplating buying a tow bar so that I can flat tow my Toy does the rear drive line need to be disconnected?  Are there ary other considerations that any one would reccomend?

Thanks

i would disconnect the drive line since it will spin.
when i flat towed mine i put some smaller tires on the front to keep it tracking better and not to use as tall of hitch. i towed with a stock 88 k5 blazer and it had its pucker moments.
edit: you have to leave a key in the ignition so the wheels will turn.

happy trails
