My 86 4runner built for rock crawling is for sale. It has a California legal 5vze swap with an engine from an 04 Tacoma. The transmission is a R-150 from a 94 4runner that was rebuilt at the time of the swap. The front axle is from an 84 4runner. I has a high pinion diff with ARB locker and 4.88 gears. It also has longfield axles, ARP steering studs Marlin high steer and FJ80 rotors. The rear axle is locked with new 4.88 gears installed by American gear in San Luis Obispo. The suspension is Allpro rear leaves that are about a year old and Trail gear front leaves that are a couple of years old. Bilstien 12" shocks in rear and FOA 14" shocks in the front. 8000lb winch. Dual transfer case with 4.0 gears in the rear case and stock in the front case. 23 spline throughout. New clutch, well maintained and built by professional mechanic. 35" tires. AC from an 94 4runner blows cold on R134A. This truck is my traveling rig. Everything was always done right with quality parts. Ready to drive to Moab, wheel and drive back to California.
