If I pull my four speed tranny and tcase out of my 1982 Toyota and put in a w56 can I use a second gens drive lines without modifying the drivelines to make them fit

I was able to use the front shaft but not the rear. Keep in mind the shafts use different size bolts. Which is no biggie you can swap to your old slip yokes. 
IIRC i had to have the rear shortened a couple inches
hold this. . .

I already drilled my bolt holes bigger for a Ifs drive line so that pat is ready iam trying to get away from the double cardon I’ve heard ppl doing with there first gens

The double cardan joint is necessary for lifted truck to keep the u joint angles from fighting each other. It will cause all kinds of noise in your tranny

I’ve only put a 3.5 inch lift springson front and 2 inch block on rear

You'll still want the double cardan ujoint, long bed or short.   :driving:
