3rz coffee table
« on: Oct 24, 2017, 12:55:35 PM »
I was cleaning out my garage, trying to free up some space, had this 3rz sitting around. As this is still a good block, I will be using bracket instead of just welding something on it. I cleaned it up yesterday, today, I masked and am in the process off painting. I found some rustoleom primer, here's how it sits

Ooooh the red really makes the 3RZ lettering pop!  What will you do for a table top?

Rod caps on bottom for legs, rods and piston from head. Piston with felt on top, 24 inch square glass 1/2" bevel edge. Right now I'm try to put clear plastic in valve cover.

Decided not to use the valve cover. It takes away from the mechanical, was trying to find some glyptal paint for cast part on camshafts.

This motor is too pretty to be used for a coffee table now. Build it and put it in a truck now please.  :slap:

Very cool. The back window from a 4Runner may fit a little better.
