Front drive shaft repair?

My front drive shaft has a lot of play in the u-joint, or cv joint.  Can I rebuild it?  Has anyone done a write up?  Where can I get parts?  Please help, hoping to go wheeling early January.

Have you ever changed a u joint? It's pretty simple. Remove snap rings, drive the caps out, put the new one in its place carefully as not to drop the needle bearings out of the cap.

Now the double cardian joint is the same procedure but double and has a few more parts between them.

I tore down my double cardan. To increase the angle. I do know that the u joints are different in the double cardan.
