1982 2wd W50 SKA15A/SKA16A difference?
« on: Apr 04, 2017, 01:07:33 PM »
Hey there. I've got a 1982 2wd sr5 pickup.5 speed
Transmission needs replacing. The one in the truck has part number 33141-20090  SKA16A   On the tail housing.
I picked up a low mileage W50 with same 33141-20090, but has SKA15A instead. I'm trying to figure out the SKA15A and SKA16A difference. Is it the speedometer gear ratio? The numbers on the center cast steel case, 33111-20091 both match on either transmissions.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Dan
