Well considering I had surgery on my ankle yesterday, not much of anything is going to be seen on this thing for a while haha. Plus I have to go down to LA to pick them up.

Guess I should throw up an update on this thing. Ended up picking up a 99 Cummins for a good deal a couple months back so now she's a trailer queen.

Went out to Hollister for Memorial Day. Wheeled around, tried out the new obstacle course, had fun. Pretty good little trip. Some pics

Registration is up and I need to smog it so decided to put it on a non op and work on it. Needs a new exhaust and I really want to throw a legit cage in it. Funds are low though so who knows how long it'll all take. Hopefully get some summer wheeling in at some point. Who knows.

No.

Even though I have everything I need to do it I don't want to. It's still pretty streetable and it's always fun to cruise around town. Think I'm going to rebuild the carb and redo the exhaust. Should be good after that.

Back from the dead....

Well, this thing is still alive. Work, school and a girlfriend happened and this thing got put on the back burner for waaaay too long.

I bought a half finished cage a while ago and got started putting it in. Stalled out on that. Picked up a shop with a buddy a couple months back and finally have a place of my own to work on it. Found out someone stole the alternator out of it from the back lot of my work where I was storing it :maddest: Clipped the plug and everything.

Been making little progress on the tube work. Still a ways to go, but I'll get there.

A couple pics...

Start of my seat mount on the passenger side

Wish I could take credit for the a and b pillars but that was the previous builder. He got it half finished and ended up moving out of state.

Been collecting a lot of parts I need to throw at this thing while I haven't been working on it. 30 splines, 4.7's, chromo output and a donor truck with a set of tons  Plan is to get this thing wheelable again and go from there.

Got the other side knocked out. Tried bending a tube for my seat mount with 2x 90's in it but kinda f'd that up. Should be able to sleeve it and make it work though.

Guess the build ain't got's no love  :gap:

Still plugging away. Got a seat mount bent up

Mocked up the seat and the bend wasn't in the right spot. So.....

Chopped the old tunnel I made. Need something more low profile so the seats don't interfere. I want to run a tube from driver side to passenger side for the seat mount. Should mount that up this weekend. Hopefully it turns out.
