Can I kick it?
« on: Aug 14, 2016, 05:25:19 AM »
I I think I'm finally figuring this Tapatalk thing out. Looking for discussions and parts and how to improve my 91 Toyota 4Runner and my 2005 Toyota 4Runner 91 has a 3.4 liter Tacoma motor swap ultimately I need to go to the classifieds and post I'm looking for some basic interior parts for my 91. Ultimately looking 4 knowledge on how to take the ifs and swap it out for a straight axle hopefully this gets posted.

By the way can anybody enlighten me on what first-generation and second-generation Etc means

trucks:

1st gen: 79-81 and 82-83
2nd gen: 84-88
3rd gen: 89-95
after that they became tacomas -- and have different generation of that which I am not sure on

4runner:

1st gen: 84-89
not sure about anything after that, they were never as cool as the first gen ;)

4Runner
90-95 2nd
96-03 are third gen I think.... After that they are way too damn expensive
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

Can anybody explain to me how to get the gear shift knob off of my 91 Toyota so I can replace it also why does the Shank spin halfway and just keeps spinning and spinning. I can't seem to get it to tighten up sometimes the smallest things are the biggest problems until somebody that knows what they're doing helps me

I need some gray sun visors and a black rubber shift boot for transmission / transfer case I need many other things but I'm trying to make the ride a little more comfy eBay is the only place that I can find these parts and  the prices are way high. My shift boot is all ripped up so my truck is a little too noisy and hot inside(so.Utah 100+ temps) and IDK what happened to my sun visor but I stole the passengers so I could see on my way home in the evenings. Anyways I need some stupid little parts. Also I could use a complete carpet kit that's not too dirty. Please and thanks. Laterz
