Topic: How to tell what transmission and transfers case do I have?

Recently bought a 82 toyota pickup with a 85 22re swapped in. I'm just curious on how can I tell what transmission is in the truck for future reference and also has dual transfer cases. How can you tell the spline, model, etc...?

best thing to do as far as identifying transmission, take some pics, top of trans showing shifter bases, 1 from bottom to, as far as t cases, I think the only way to tell whether if 23 or 21 spline, would be to pull out and check.
