Its a 4 stroke engine. You need to have it on the compression stroke, at top dead center. This is when the number 1 piston, at the front, is at the very top o its stroke, you then insert the dizzy into the hole with the rotor gfacing straight up, 12 o clock, AS YOU PUSH IT IN, it will rotate backwards to abouts the 11 o clock position.


edit; Those marks on the chain are for install. They only lione up when you install, and then like every 32 or soemthying revolutions. If youy just took the head off and slapped a chain on, your :pokinit: is prob not put together right at all. First thing first is to pull the dizzy out, and compression check it. If its not 120 or higher, you put it together wrong
