I converted mine...a/c never did work when I got my 4runner anyway...I even made my own tank out of 4" pipe..did all the plumbing and whatnot...simple overall once you get all the parts collected...I have a regular compressor switch wired in also...so it opens and closes as needed...I run my tank to 125 psi and that a/c pump will run it to 200 psi easily...inline oil seprator/filter, oiler on intake side as well as a small air filter...works great...
